K-161 is a receiver measuring module - it works according to the signals of the global navigation satellite systems GLONASS, GPS, WAAS, EGNOS. It is designed to determine the current coordinates and components of the object's velocity vector, form a time scale synchronized with a given time scale and register radio navigation parameters.

The PKI module of the receiver of corrective information - provides reception of standard signals of differential messages transmitted by control and correction stations (CCS) of the differential subsystem of global navigation satellite systems GLONASS/GPS and their transmission to the navigation equipment of consumers in the standard RTCM SC-104 (v. 2.2) and is intended for use as part of the ship equipment of consumers GNSS GLONASS/GPS.

1K-161 is a navigation receiver of the first generation of GLONASS/GPS satellite systems - designed to determine the current coordinates, speed and time using signals from GLONASS, GPS, WAAS, EGNOS satellite navigation systems.
